Story of Yuyutsu

The virtuous Yuyutsu was Dhrithrashtr's son from Gandhari's maid. He was the only brother of Duryodhan who fought for the Pandavs in the Kurukshetr war and was the only surviving child of Dhrithrashtr after the war ended. When Yudhisthir and the Pandavs retired into the forests, Parikshit, the young grandchild of Arjun was crowned the king. Yuyutsu was appointed the caretaker of the kingdom.
